Seleni Archaeological Park

The nuragic complex of Seleni lies in an area of homonymous granite relief, at 978 metres above sea level, which overhangs the inhabited area of Lanusei , in an environmental setting characterized by a dense cover of oaks trees.
The notable archaeological interest is due to the uncommon concentration of structures made for the defense and control of the territory, civil structures, monuments erected in memory and celebration of the dead and of worship. This wealth of archaeological remains, together with the beautiful natural environment that surrounds them, justifies the name of “Archaeological Park”
